From 2001-2010 Floris has been a professor for Cello at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and from 2010-2015 at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam.Currently he is appointed as professor for cello at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium in Innsbruck.
